126. Letters related to Nobel Peace Prize

Hi George and Ruby,
I will let you decide whether this news is worth putting on our Forum4Chinese website. I don’t want to get my hopes up yet, as this is the third time around. But if you compare with Obama getting this in 2009, and Trump actually being nominated, you have to wonder what is going in regards to competency and results?

Y@H friends,

I just came across the following short video, which relates to an effort that David Chai and Don Tow undertook last year to recruit volunteer translators to help translate some of the civil compensation claims letters by the numerous victims of Japanese slave camps during WWII.

This video put the whole thing in an encouraging context with a triumphant note.
最该得诺贝尔和平奖的中国人!27年零薪酬,却让日本赔了7亿

I feel humbly privileged to be able to contribute my time for a few of those translations, and very gratified to see the positive results coming out and some justice served.
